Tasty Tuscan is a US company that is responsible for the importation and distribution of high quality, Italian gourmet products. The term "tasty" was the main adjective used when we were sampling any one of our products.
Throughout the countryside of central Italy, in particularly the vibrant region of Tuscany, with rolling hills and traditional villas, the wonderful sight provides a breath of air full of sparkling, intense flavors and provides an unique experience for anyone has had the pleasure to have me its acquaintance.
The production of oils, sauces and condiments is all part of the countryside tradition, each experience is handed down from father to son. These techniques and recipes have been maintained for generations, giving us the opportunity to enjoy the same recipes as its always been.
The idea and reasoning to start this venture comes from the sharing of certain values, especially 'the love for our land'. Tuscany, as a region, has the power to embrace some of the most wonderful things that we know - art, history and the love for the genuine ... and not forgetting the greatness of typical and traditional foods. From this position we hope to arouse the curiosity in these wonderful products to our customers.
Tasty Tuscan, in its dual capacity of both importer and distributor throughout the US, represents the true, authentic Italian producer. Working in partnership, these producers are working with us to provide and promote these hidden gems of Tuscany to the American market.
Most of the products have been produced for decades, made from simplest of ingredients of the highest quality, such as the truffle, pecorino cheeses and the porcini mushroom. Our mission is to grow along side our producers, proposing new products that reiterate the original, handmade and "tasty".
